    To start, Tuberville may lose 30% of the white vote just because he's not a Bammer. (Neither the state nor the university — he is a South Arkansas native.) I guarantee you he won't get 90% of the Black vote either. Bottom line, Doogie has a pulse.

    It took a miracle for Jones to win last time. He's got maybe a 30% chance, if that. And yes, the wild card is bammers not voting for Tubs - but he has (R) after his name, so he's going to win.

    I hate Sessions as much as anyone, but he's far better than Tuberville... and that should tell you something about Tubs.

    Reply All also had a really good three-part podcast series about the Alabama Democratic party. Basically, they squandered almost all of the momentum from the Jones win because their party leadership had been so disorganized for years, for a variety of reasons.

    They finally pried out the two idiots who were running the Al Dems as a personal fiefdom. Party is under new and much better management now, but it took the National Democratic party and lawsuits to make it happen.
