And it was done without a political campaign buying tens of thousands to give away to donors. (That we know of.) Unlike Don Jr’s.

You are right about Kemp, though we are seeing these things in both directions. Is Wolfe too cautious in Pennsylvania? Who really makes decisions abouit reopening anything in New York City? Gov. Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio seem to keep fighting over that.

Somebody mentioned that we aren't unified, that we are 50 nations right now. I'm not even sure that is true, because even the states don't seem to be unified.

I am completely in agreement, OOP. The country is fractured into factions even at the lowest levels. We had a member of our Presbyterian church quit in a public huff over a letter to the editor in the local newspaper written by our pastor that didn't fit his religious beliefs. My blunt answer: hey, dude, if that's not your opinion of Jesus, there are 10,000 other churches. Find a different one that doesn't make you question your belief system so you can feel comfortable napping through the sermon on Sundays.

Our pastor's been there since 2001, and our church has less than 200 members. It's not like the angry guy suddenly was surprised. He just wanted to be pissy and burn his bridges. See ya, wouldn't want to be ya.

Kemp is basically a real life Chip Diller and DeSantis is Greg Marmalard. Neither one has the political acumen of a ball point pen.

This seems like a fair summation.

It may have also convinced Trumpists not to use mail in voting, leaving the majority of that source to the Dems.
