Baring the weirdest set of monumental lopsided scores, Hammers likely safe even with a loss Sunday. Villa survive with a win or draw with an equal or worse result from Watford. Bournemouth need a miracle.

It's the final day of the Championship today. I have a weird interest because a) these are probably my people now as a Watford supporter and b) I picked Brentford as my team in FIFA 18 because I wanted to get somebody out of the Championship into the Premier League, and lo and behold, Brentford actually have a chance at making it through, though the loss to Stoke the other day was damaging.

Leeds is already through. If West Brom wins, it is through. If West Brom loses to QPR at home, then Brentford merely needs a draw against Barnsley for Premier League promotion. (GD is Brenton 43, West Brom 32). Fulham has Wigan at Craven Cottage and if Fulham wins, it can snag the second spot if West Brom loses and Brentford loses or draws. And there's still a three-for-two spots scenario for the playoff positions between Nottingham Forest (70), Cardiff (70) and Swansea (67).

At the bottom, Charlton, Luton (c**ts), Barnsley and Hull City all are still fighting to stay up. Only one will survive.

2:30 p.m. on ESPN Plus. Should be a great day.

I can't even be mad. Barnsley staying up with a road goal at the death is a great story. Brentford at least have a chance in the promotion playoff.

Hammers' result really sucks for Watford. With nothing but pride and respect for other teams to play for, I don't see West Ham getting after it as hard as Villa. Of course, Arsenal might be checked out just as much, which could help. I just don't see Arsenal losing worse than West Ham might lose. Villa's going to run up the score.

Meanwhile, Chelsea doing it's best but Champions League will come down to three teams for two spots on the last day. Between relegation and Champions League fights, Sunday will be fun.

So teams in 3-5 got a combined 1 point from their round 37 matches.

Job done for United. Limped to the finish but a massive turnaround since Bruno and especially after the restart.

Leicester City absolutely crapped the bed after the restart.
