Earl: "You know why you're here?"
Bill Haller: "No, Earl. Why is that?"

So many valid points and pertinent questions, tapintoamerica.

If you're the Orioles, do you really want to be anywhere near Miami, the nation's worst hot spot right now? And playing against a Marlins team tomorrow night that doesn't know how many of its players are infected from the weekend in Philly, and doesn't feel comfortable flying home for fear of spreading the virus to families?

If you're the Marlins, how do you proceed? Do you consider everyone who went to Philadelphia as asymptomatic and cobble together a lineup from your taxi squad? Or do you just take more swabs, monitor temperatures and proceed as scheduled?

Good thing the Commissioner has this all figured out. I sure hope the powers that be running major college football and the NFL think hard about how they're going to proceed, because they're in the same mess.

MLB says it can limit quarantine time because of repeated testing. I presume the NFL can do the same. But college football has no such opportunity. Those in charge of the sport -- you would hope that ultimately means presidents/chancellors -- have two options:

His boy Jeter's team apparently hasn't heeded that one.
Contract the Marlins and A's. ASAP.

You can actually have a lot of ton with these cardboard cutouts in the stands. Someone in Boston should line up Sammy, Carla, Cliff, Norm and Woody behind home plate.

Great idea. But are they trademarked? Would the owner of syndication rights have to be the one to do it?
Likewise the Seinfeld crew at a Mets game.

No lawyer could stop the casts in question from doing it on their own … if they wanted to.

Come on you’re not blaming Dusty for this; Verlander hasn’t even pitched for Dusty really.

It was more of a zing on his prior (no pun intended) handling of pitchers.
