The city and province gave the green light for the Jays to play in Toronto, the federal government overruled.

By the by, Toronto is reporting six new cases or what, half of what the Marlins have now?

If the Marlins happens again, should teams start forming split squads? Keep one in reserve and have it play a series, rest, play another series, rest...

I will be amazed if MLB shuts this down. They have brought this too far to be pissed away by a SS ignoring his test results.

Marlins are the most feared team in baseball.

I saw a few people raise this, but haven't seen an answer: Why not have the Yankees play Baltimore now, and shuffle the schedule later? There are no fans anyway.

Help me out - why aren't the rest of the Marlins quarentining for 14 days?

Something I've also wondered: If the potentially infected visitor's clubhouse is the problem, why can't the Yankees show up in uniform, and just take a bus back to the hotel? Or find another facility nearby with a usable locker room (say, Lincoln Financial Field, where the Eagles play).

Or have the manager hold a fucking team meeting on the matter rather than consult MLB.

Definitely seems like that’s a direction this might take.
