Bet he pulls it off if need be. You think he hasn't had a meal or two of that nature since the beginning of the pandemic?

Keep it up, EF ... or, at least, until your better half reaches the breaking point.

    ----

The first five minutes of Rangers-Whalercanes were a little intense and a little physical ... one time where no one is exaggerating about "setting the tone." I mean ... Justin Williams triggering a fight against Ryan Strome after the initial rapid-fire hitting? And I guess Jaccob Slavin made clear that he's ready to pick up some of the blueline's scoring load until Dougie Hamilton can return. Thought Brett Pesce might be ready, too, but not looking good. This will test a defensive group that was, before injuries, fairly deep and skilled.

And ... maybe (?!) ... they'll get past Hank's mystique. Lundqvist has earned the label - a proven track record of stealing enough games where Carolina's skaters clearly outpossessed, outshot and outplayed the Blueshirts, only to come up short on the scoreboard.

Loved when David Quinn thought the Whalercanes were "pissed" about not winning a game against the Rangers during the regular season during the postgame presser (getting the Rangers' feed since, for some reason, the other options are blacked out in my market).

    ----

Already heard both sides of the Tkachuk hit on Scheifele. Everything from "why did that hit merit a fight?" to Mo's public comments that he felt the hit was intentional and "disgusting." The Mo I saw in quite a few postgame pressers back in the day was not the sort to spout off without ample reason. Thoughts?

I don’t know about intentional but Tkachuk seems generally reckless. Hockey generally lets a lot go, I still don’t know how Chara slamming Pacioretty’s head into a stanchion was ruled a “hockey play”.

Two penalty shot calls in MON-PIT were both pretty generous I thought. Sheary’s attempt was crap but Drouin, who looks lost, outdid it. If Pittsburgh get the PP going they will roll.

It looks phenomenal. I can’t believe the bosses allow it but we live in strange times.

The German word for octopus is (der) Krake, plural is (die) Kraken. Probably adopted from the same Scandinavian etymology. So if you said plural, you won't be wrong.

British sports convention has filtered over anyway so it'll get an "are" no matter.

This might be the best one I’ve seen Elliotte. You’ll be on Punjabi Night in Canada before you know it.
