At least when I've bought stuff on Steam and Amazon, both have made me pay Texas taxes. Not sure if that would be included in that revenue figure, but even if people aren't packing the box stores, they still need to do things like HEB curbside pick-up once a week.

I called for an eye appointment in May. Could not get in until mid-July. Because they were not doing elective eye exams from late March though mid-May, and they had to get all those previously scheduled appointments taken care of first.

I suspect a lot of places that had a backlog of business showed July year-over-year improvement.

Why do people keep engaging RTExpress? It's like the people who kept engaging YankeeFan.

Do you really think there's going to be a post you can make that will make either change his mind about anything?

That can be said about any of us not just BTE.
Besides, for me, it's cathartic to debate and vent. Plus, BTE may be ill-informed, but he isn't being a "that's a good point" troll at least checking someone's facts or offering a secondary point of view isn't terrible on a forum like this.

Engage who you like. Just know it's a complete waste of your time that you'll never get back.

As is much of my time on this site. Alas, during this time I can't be destracted by doing a ton of things in the real world. When school starts up again, by give-a-shit level of what BTE says will likely plummet.

If this guy were black, the cops would have put 40 rounds in him. And not the next morning, either.

‘Not handling the pandemic well’: Man fires at officers
with AK-47 after refusing to wear a mask, police say

After Zaborowski walked out without paying for his cigars, police say he fired his gun once in the air and twice at a clerk who confronted him outside. Multiple customers were also sitting outside the shop in the direction he fired.

The next morning, police and state troopers were waiting to arrest Zaborowski outside his home in Slatington, Pa., when he hopped in a truck and drove off, police told the Express-Times. When they stopped him nearby, he jumped out of the vehicle and started firing at police with the AK-47 and a semiautomatic handgun.

Zaborowski was hit in the buttocks and leg, Waldron said, and is expected to recover.

“The fact that he got shot twice with non-life-threatening injures when he had an AK-47 and another handgun, Adam is very fortunate he ended up the way he did,” Waldron told the Express-Times.

"Ok, this blew way up more than expected. We stand behind the message of this sign but we cannot take credit for it. By our Governors mandate you must wear a mask to be served at a restaurant in Kentucky and the longer you refuse the longer we will be living this nightmare. We care about our staff, we care about our customers, we care about our family. This is NOT a political issue, it’s a health issue and it is NON-negotiable." – Sidebar Grill, Lexington, KY

New info on the Gwinnett School outbreak: "Let's have in-person teacher orientation but not follow protocols or do any testing and see how it works out!"

According to the ex-teacher sourced, 16 schools have already been affected. PR lady is putting lipstick on pig. She says the majority of the 260 got it independent of the orientation, but not a good start to the school year. News at 11.

COVID cases, exposure have 260 Gwinnett school employees not working
