    The Dave Matthews Band.

    This may surprise many people.

Tom Petty, with and without the Heartbreakers multiple times, great every time.
It seemed there was a span in college that whenever I would visit a friend at a different school, O.A.R. was playing at a local club, so I've probably seen them about a half dozen times.

Stevie Nicks. Seventeen times. Four with Fleetwood Mac, once with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Twice in concerts that included other artists.

I saw them in '95, during my last year of college and in the midst of a massive R.E.M. kick. I was really revved up, but felt the same way you guys did. I thought maybe it was me and being a hair metal guy in my pre-R.E.M. days, but I remember thinking they were blah and that I'd just paid to hear the studio tracks spun on stage. It makes sense w/everything that was going on, of course.

It may be a while. It'll likely be an otherworldly experience.
