SPOILER ALERT: Don't tell me who won!

Oh, the kid from Berkeley/Cal/25 miles away/just up the road. Except he's actually from L.A. but CBS needs a local angle.

Sounds like I need to rewatch the finish. The thread the past two pages was awesome.

Actually, the lid came off during the handoff to Rory at Valhalla in 2014. That's the first time I realized the trophy hadn't actually broken, which was somewhat disappointing.

Stone cold perfect on 16. An absolute dart. And so close to sealing it at 17. No nerves whatsoever down the stretch. One-hands the approach at 18! Incredibly happy for the kid.

Maumann, did you notice Nantz tried to call him a "local kid," then hastily added he was born in the LA area and is now living in Las Vegas?

Morikawa could put his girlfriend in the trophy to avoid another baggage fee if he wanted to.
    Good Lord she's tiny.

HA! I heard that on the hastily posted YouTube video swiped from some guy's phone of the CBS broadcast. Hilariously awesome.

It's not official until you lift (or almost drop) the Wanamaker in front of all the stuffed jackets from the PGA of America. And in a crazy twist this year, they're all old white guys!

Well, the PGA president is a (relatively) old white lady.

    What!?!
As Pete Sampras said, "nobody remembers who won Philadelphia ". And nobody cares who lost the Colonial.
He just hit a shit for the ages in a major. Who gives a shit about the Colonial?

It seems like Nantz put on his COVID 19.
