If the stats on ESPN.com are to be believed, no one made worse than bogey at 16 all week. That tells me the PGA gave everyone a freebie. I don’t care if they do this in Hartford; I don’t care for it in a major.

In other news, the PGA Tour had a few dozen layoffs including veteran writers and others from its digital division. I think they tried to do it quietly during PGA week but Golfweek/USA Today reported it.

Not even close as far as I'm concerned.

Watched the last two hours or so today (shockingly my wife wasn’t interested in prime time golf). That was fun.

Morikawa is fun and really seems like the real deal. Love his swing. And more proof you don’t have to bench press a Cadillac to be an elite player.

Was kinda surprised how slow the greens were most of the week.

Looking forward to Winged Foot next. And, if all goes well, two Masters in six month.

The tooooonamint is about 90 days away. Do we think they'll give it a go with fans?

    Track and field are tied.

Pretty compelling golf, but I've never seen so many putts slide by without falling in.

There's only one thing worse than track.

    Field.

Cool fact I learned this weekend, Daniel Berger is not only an outstanding player but also world class tennis player Jay Berger’s son. He’s the PGA Korda!
