2019-2020 NHL season thread

I remember Rask being out of a couple games in the past for no real reason given, and he didn’t play in the bronze game in Sochi (I think). There was that stretch last season where he left the team for personal reasons and missed a week maybe.

Hope there’s nothing serious going on.

 

Jack Edwards bailed Mike Milbury out of the Stupid Take Doghouse before the latter finished removing his foot from his giant mouth:

 

Oh no, was working all day and making the hell commute down 95 so I missed the game ... that's brutal.

 

Ferraro called Edwards an embarrassment. Pretty rare to see a hockey broadcaster be that blunt about someone as long-serving as Edwards.

Not that he is wrong.

What did Milbury do now?

 

Ripped Rask for leaving the bubble without of course knowing a thing about why he did so.

 

Is there an answer to "What did Milbury do now?" that would surprise anyone at this point?

 

I didn’t realize he had to do anything at this point. It’s amazing that he has lasted this long as a broadcaster. The game that guys like him played was a lifetime ago, and he never kept up.

 

The only acceptable Milburian reason would be do pummel a man with his own Allen Edmonds wingtip.

 

No one shot his own dick off quite like Grapes. I kinda miss him.
