If Carolina had won, their game with the Bruins would've been tomorrow.

One look at the atrocious third period of Game 4 on Monday and that wasn't happening.

Was glad to see Zdeno Chara show mountains of respect to Rod Brind'Amour and Sebastian Aho in the handshake line. No Dino Ciccarelli replay there ...

Just didn't have the firepower to stay with the Bruins unless they were totally perfect defensively, which as you note, they weren't.

No doubt everyone has had a back-to-back. Don't know if we get that in the next round. I suspect the conference finals in Edmonton will go every other day. I'd bet they want to get this over as quick as possible.

I think if the Caps and Islanders somehow make it to 7, games 6 and 7 are back to back.

When the NHL first went to best of 7 in the first round in 1986-87, many of the first rounds played 4 in 5 nights. Good for hatred, bad for health.

Lotta shenanigans in Habs-Flyers at the end. Surprised it didn't become a line brawl.

Not sure why Shea Weber wouldn’t dismember Voracek in that situation.

When Voracek leapt on the pile, I thought for sure there would be a fight. I think everyone else, including Weber was tied up or yeah, they'd be scrapping Voracek up off the ice.

The latest episode in Mike Millbury being an asshole.

How does this man still have a broadcasting career after all the stupid shit he's said? NBC has demonstrably better analysts, both in knowledge of the game and charisma, yet keeps trotting out the shoe-thrower in high profile assignments.

I've never seen the Caps get their ass kicked like they did in this series. It was brutal. They were the better team for two of 16 periods. And that effort down two in the third period was laughable. It was like they were, 'cool bro, not getting swept, time to go home.'

I’m not generally a Milbury defender, but this one seems pretty benign to me. In the context of the conversation they seemed to be having, I don’t see what’s all that offensive about what he said.
