Is auto-correct a phone feature? In other words, is the correction made by the phone or the Twitter app? I don’t know.

Trump tweets his support of Brennaman tomorrow, right?

It would be phone, and it didn't occur to me in my earlier comment that typing in Twitter could be totally different from typing a text. I don't think Twitter would autocorrect but I'm not positive.

BTW, what city was Thom Brennaman even referring to?

Focke did not say it was autocorrect, even though everyone on Twitter is saying that. He said he mistyped. Given the location of the respective letters on a keyboard that's obviously plausible.

I spoke with John a handful of times and had great time chatting with him but don't know him well. It's absurd to think he'd type it intentionally and only slightly less absurd to think he's typed the word so many times his phone just autocorrects to it. That said, while I hope it's just a suspension, I assume he'll be let go.

And obviously I don't think it would compare to Brennaman here. The comparison with Brennaman would have been if some Reds player was named Flags and he accidentally blurted out a slur while excitedly announcing a home run.

Edit: Just read the column Matt posted where John says it was not autocorrect.

Maybe he was using the British slang for cigarettes?

    That's hilarious.

"I'm a man of faith." Go away, Thom.
