    So did I. Seemed fairly honest ... took a lot of unnecessary crap. One writer claimed he had the personality of a divot. That writer is an idiot. IIRC, seemed to base it on wearing Oakley wraparounds to protect the contacts in his eyes from the dirt and grime that inevitably flies around on a golf course.

    Still one of the most underrated stories in golf history. They were the first father-son team to be exempt players on those two tours for longer than one season, then the first to win -- let alone the same day.

    Scottie Scheffler just put up the big 5-9 at the Northern Trust. Six birds on the front, six on the back. Went from 1-under yesterday to 13-under and a share of the lead.

    Phil is going to miss the cut and announced that he'll play in the Champions Tour event next week. That surprises me, I figured he'd put off the geezer Tour for a few years.
