This needs to happen. Too many people didn’t pay attention to the virus until it started canceling sports. Maybe this will at least get the Kenosha Police Department to acknowledge its complicity.

    Good for the Bucks.

And if the Magic accept the win, half the NBA, current and retired, will be getting in cars and driving to Florida to whip their asses.

Actually, both teams should head out for the game and just sit on the court for two hours. Just fucking sit.

The Sean Doolittle quote fits well here:

"Sports are the reward for a functioning society."

Got a lot of friends in Wisconsin who would be happy to split the tickets whenever home games resume. I'll buy them from MAGA guy.

Even Dick DeVos, the Amway baron who sits atop the Magic's pyramid, won't go against his players and coaches -- and like you mentioned, pretty much the entire NBA, all the way up to the commissioner -- on this.

Rich white owners did not see this coming.

    Shocked. I tell you. Shocked

Would they boycott down 3-1 or 3-2?

YES - they will not be losing this game.

Very good point being made right now among the Blue Check Brigade: This is not a boycott, it’s a wildcat strike.

It's a very convenient protest for the Bucks. Up 3-1 against an outmatched team and knowing that the NBA and the Magic will not accept a forfeit. Also being the first game of the day and knowing that the other four teams won't go out and play.

The NBA is a stars' league and Silver has no real power. He rolls over and says "yes" to anything the players want.

That being said, I have no issue with taking a day off or two for bring attention to this. Kenosha is unspeakable.

There have been reports out of the bubble for the past few days that players were really troubled by Kenosha and seriously questioning if they had done the right thing by agreeing to show up in the bubble in the first place.

I'm curious to see how quickly this is resolved. I don't know that this will be a one-day thing.

Postponing from Wednesday until what? Saturday? That will not move the needle.

Pulling up on the season at this point, really putting your money where your big-money sneakers are, THAT would move the needle.
