    Of course, you ignored the fact that testing dropped 29 percent from the 15 days before Aug. 9 to the 15 days after.

    This strikes me as a bad idea.

    USC still plans to have in-person fraternity recruitment starting Labor Day week with safety protocols in place. A fraternity open house will be held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center to allow for social distancing, said Anna Edwards, associate vice president for student life.

    Florida's Medical Examiners Commission has resolved to make reporting of COVID-19 deaths by medical examiners discretionary. The cover up is in progress.

    Positivity rate over the past 7 days:
    10 of the 11 highest rates and 15 of the top 17 are in states with GOP governors.
    In states governed by Democrats, the total positivity rate the past 7 days is 4.02%.
    In states governed by Republicans, the total positivity rate the past 7 days is 8.82%.

    But we're all in this together, right?

    Our current rate is 8.97%, and I'm damn glad to see it. It's a helluva lot better than 15 to 18%.

    When you live in Alabama you get used to being at the top of the bad and the bottom of the good statistics.

    Hate to do this, but Covid Tracking Project and Covid Exit Strategy both have Alabama at 14.3% for its most recent seven-day rate.
    Why do I suspect your state government is lying to you?
