No matter whether anybody thinks the Kenosha Police Department was lying in its statement, the details in the statement officially render the original Seattle Times story worthless because, as I recall, said story had no reference to any of the details about what was allegedly discovered in the vehicle. It just took the protesters' word that the stop and the arrests were not justified.

They were probably just butane torches and propane tanks for the food truck.

Oh and the "they're driving cars from out of state and filling up with gas therefore they're about to commit a crime" is the most horse-shit excuse for accosting people.

They thought they were nabbing some Antifa kingpins and ended up with some people running a food truck. Hence the concocted bullshit for why they were stopped in the first place.

Glad your goal here was to scare the shit out of people. Because that's what that tweet accomplishes.

I've seen the punk's defenders say it does prove it because "He didn't shoot first."

Either we misread it, they misread it or the article was so poorly written that reasonable people could draw completely different conclusions.

    Best reply I saw:

    Thought this was interesting:

(Correct. Multiple press reports say that he tried to join the Marine Corps in January but was disqualified from serving after talking with recruiters.)

On the other side, there’s a couple like this:

Also, saw this which may be indicative:

I was unaware that Zuck was able to admit to his mistakes.

    I find this interesting, too.

Has anyone here gone into/been in the Marines, or at least gone as far as talking with recruiters. What would get you flagged for exclusion from the Marines, or any military institution, outside of an obvious physical inability to stay the course, maybe? Are the interviews for entry into the Marines really rigorous?
