Not having credentials should be kind of a badge of honor for them, but yeah, why would they need them anyway?

If they don't want to be taken seriously, then you're right.

Wait to be taken seriously you need a media credential? How about looking at the substance of what they are saying? Isn’t that supposed to be the real criteria? Just because the PGA Tour approves their request all of sudden they can NOW be taken seriously?

Taken seriously by whom, you and the establishment golf media? You think they give one iota of a shit about that?

They're kinda' the old Deadspin of golf and yet managed to get Nantz on their podcast. What they’re doing seems to be working for them.

Would not shocked me to see the HSBC event in China moved.

My in-laws live in North Las Vegas. We were there last week and drove past Shadow Creek. It's off Losee Road, which is a dreary part of town with construction yards, cement factories, industrial equipment rentals. We were there to rent a cargo van. We drove past the entrance and I remarked to my brother-in-law that it was a weird place for a golf course. He said that course is very exclusive for high-rollers from the biggest casinos, like the Wynn or Bellagio. I said it seemed to be quite a distance away, since there are other nice courses closer to The Strip. He said it is very expensive and Joe Public can't just show up and play. Membership is limited. You have to be invited by a member or the hotel VIP rep.

Sophia Popov 48 hours after her Open victory for an extended interview.

The Peter Kostis interview earlier this year made a lot of waves.

Like the established golf media who does nothing but carry water for the tour?

Mon-Thurs, you can play, but you have to be a guest at one of the properties, PLUS it's $500 per person.
    Fri-Sun, you don't have a prayer.

Comes with a limo ride from the property, right? I'd do that once. Granted, I'd have to go immediately from airport to hotel to course since my cash flow tends to, uh, fluctuate after a few hours in town.
