    Funny how things keep popping up. As I posted previously, we drove past Shadow Creek last week. It's in a crappy area. Yesterday, I ran into one of those "best in state" lists on Facebook. The best golf course in each state. The one for Nevada was Shadow Creek. BTW, California's was Cypress Point and Oregon's was Bandon Dunes. No argument there.

    He was at VCU during my brief employment there. Good kid. I sent him a note a while back via email, got a nice response in return. Very easy to root for someone like him. Not a kid you would have picked to be a tour winner, worked his ass off to get to where he is and IS a tour winner.

    DJ just dominated the FedEx, two wins and losing 3rd JM a playoff to an insane putt. Impressive. Too bad not a major but oh well (he led after 54 at PGA too!)
