It's the Mariners. They haven't been there before.

Last night, Anthony Rendon hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning (second game of a doubleheader). Angels trailed, 6-4, before the home run. Angels announcer Victor Rojas started shouting, "THE ANGELS WALK-OFF ON THE ASTROS AGAIN FOR THE THIRD GAME IN A ROW. A WALK-OFF ANGELS WIN." Oops, the Angels were the visitors at home in a game rescheduled because of the hurricane in Houston last month.

Question: The Angels won on Friday night in 11 innings. Shohei singled home Trout with two outs. Does that count as a walk-off?

The Angels won the first game Saturday when Joe Adell singled inside first to bring in two runs in the BOTTOM of the seventh for a 10-9 victory, a legit walk-off.

Why wouldn't the Friday game be considered a walk-off?

Just wondering. So every extra inning game that the home team wins is a walk-off. Even the funky ones which start with a runner on second.

Yep. You can also have walk-off walks and balks in extra innings. As long as you win the game in your last at-bat, you walked off.

FTR, he immediately realized his mistake and was laughing about it throughout the home-run trot.

Of course, the Angels bullpen being what it is, it would have ridiculous to assume a win at that point (although Buttrey did actually come through at the end).

No, Hunter Wendelstedt ran Rizzo for an apparently inordinate amount of heckling.

That I'll buy, only because it's Wendelstedt.

So freaking funny and they come back from commercial and it continues. Also very funny sox clip is with Dennis Leary and Kenny Clark talking about Mel Gibson and Youk.
Also funny but I can't find a clip is when they catch Judge Judy stealing a box of munchkin donuts during a visit to the booth.

Per AP, apparently it was West. This is getting curiouser and curiouser.
