They make the Bodines seem relatively cultured, in retrospect. If someone from Chemung, N.Y., can be considered cultured.

Kenny seems like the guy who’d be a blast to drink cold beers with, especially if you bought, until you went to the can and he was trashing you to everyone else at the bar. He talks a lot for a guy who won some Busch races. I could easily be wrong.

    Nah, that’s his brother.

Kenny just talks a lot. Like, a lot a lot.

I feel old because I was digging through some stuff tonight and found a lineup sheet from when I went to the 1990 Busch Clash.

Tonight was a doubleheader with the ARCA race as the nightcap, and the kid won that too.

Whippersnapper is out past his bedtime.

Randy LaJoie's making a mint off racing booster seats.

Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin just bought Germain Racing’s Cup Series charter, with Jordan as primary owner and Hamlin as a minority owner (charter will be in Denny’s name). Ty Dillon is out at the end of the season, Bubba Wallace is in the seat next year.

Team name, manufacturer, car number all TBA.

This is Jordan’s second try at racing. He formerly owned 23 Racing, which ran Suzuki GSX-Rs in AMA Superbike competition.

    Sounds like a good deal.
Dillion will find a ride at his grandpa's shop. The Dillion boys are the only reason RC is still in the game.
Hamlin being a team owner for a team he isn't the driver seems like an odd deal to me. That's an inbred conflict of interest if there ever was one.

My old mind isn't working right - didn't another driver do that in the not-so-distant past?

Probably. NASCAR isn't really known for rules or fairness consistency.
