Was sooo looking forward to tonight, US Open semis, Lakers/Hou and NFL Kickoff. Not one compelling contest. I guess maybe Serena’s three setter and I didn’t watch that much but on DVR it was high caliber for sure but Vika got early break.

I watched an episode of Rockford Files with Isaac Hayes that was pretty good and at times intense.

In the next episode, Meathead played the cocksure quarterback of a football team called the Southern Illinois Warriors. Dick Butkus made a cameo.

The Brady-Osaka match was terrific. Too bad you missed it.

Wow. I don't know what you were expecting. Both women's semifinals were great matches, and Vika-Serena was great theater. Stars-Vegas went to OT. And I enjoyed the football game. I had two TVs on and was still flipping channels to catch it all.

To each his own, I guess.

Yeah I guess I didn’t appreciate the semis. Just wanted one of the games to be a nail biter.

31 seconds of OT was a bummer.

Brutal head to head match up today with US Open finishing up day one, and the NBA Western final tipping off as the NFL starts week 2. Oh and MLB has games, the Tour de France is going and game 6 of the Eastern Conference NHL finals (all except the Tour going on at about the same time).

Yeah, it was on IMDb TV /Amazon Fire, but got yanked so it could run on Peacock, which is not supported by FireStick or early generation Chromecast, which are the two devices I use to stream.

It is on something called Airy TV, but their interface is hard as hell to navigate; it's not really "on demand," instead you have to watch which episode they happen to be showing at the moment, plus there's no closed captioning. But you can still get a free Rockford fix that way.

US Open final round plus NBA and NFL is a great day.
