They had some other guy calling plays last night. Spread offense. Looked like some Mike Martz shit, only out of the gun.

What they seem to be asking Watson to do, he's going to have to be Warren Moon or Rams-era Kurt Warner. Good luck.

Watson's probably a top 7/8 QB in the league. (The league has a lot of good ones right now.) If you gave him McVay-level playcaller, he'd have Houston playing for the trophy.

Yeah, fair point. Fans want to see the banner go up. And to have a story about going to game in the middle of this shit.

This guy is having a helluva preseason ...

Titans first-round pick Wilson arrested for DUI

His NFL life began in bizarre fashion anyway, with Mom yanking the fat girlfriend off his lap on draft night because she was hogging the attention when his name was called:

Giants starting center is a guy, Nick Gates, with maybe the best nickname in football, Fat Thor.

I have spent the last two football seasons going to a bar on the beach that offers Sunday Ticket, have lunch and watch the Lions. Not this year. If the Lions are on in Tampa I’ll see them but they aren’t worth COVID

I’d like to hear a game without the artificial crowd noise and mic the field.

place I went to for the first half of the Raiders game was fine - social distancing enforced. The half and half they brought with the coffee had turned however. Was surprised how many people were drinking beer and the hard stuff at 10 a.m. (not really surprised).

I went to my first NFL day game in 20 years last season. Tailgating at MetLife Stadium with a group that’s been doing it for years. Starting with beer and NJ Taylor ham-eggs and complete with grilled lamb chops, burgers, dogs and sliced tenderloin. Starting @10am for a 1:00 start there were thousands drinking beers and screwdrivers and eating dinner. Too old for that now
