Still time for the Big 12 to cancel its season?

Shit. I figured THIS would at least wait until Nov. 4.

(And judging by the scale of the "ruler," the fans are about 4 feet tall).

KU misspelled the name of its starting QB on his jersey. That is truly some next level shit.

Kansas is down 21-0 to Coastal Carolina and QB Thomas MacVittie’s name is misspelled on the back of his jersey.

    Beat me to it.
But seriously, folks, Texas and Oklahoma won today. Ultimately, that's all that matters in that league.

I told Donny in the offseason coaches thread that I wasn't fully sold on Mike Norvell, especially in a rebuild situation. He walked into a situation at Memphis were they had went 19-6 in the final two seasons with Justin Fuente. He didn't have to "create a culture" or "change the team's DNA" or any of the other coach cliches. Just continue to win. This is a totally different animal.

Yeah, but things got weird at Texas.

Are G5 schools that are still playing getting any extra TV money from doing so? I saw Tulane / South Alabama was the prime-time game on ESPN2 Saturday, and Tulane / Navy is on ABC next Saturday, neither of which would have happened in a million years if there was a normal schedule.

I don't think they will vote unless there are 8 schools willing to say yes. I don't think they have that yet. The schools that are saying yes are just being very loud about it.

Memphis and Arkansas State meet. Both report 8-10 positives in the aftermath of the game. Who gave it to whom? Or were all cases unrelated to their competition? We’ll never know.

I know a lot of websites that cover the program are reporting that the administrators at the various schools have flipped. But I don't think I have heard of any administrator coming out publically and saying that they have changed their position.

And if there are at least six school leaders that deep in their hearts don't want to play the current policy of continuing to have more meetings serves them well. The school presidents don't have to go on the record again and face controversy while continuing the suspension.
