I miss the album cover art of yore. I saved one LP when I donated my collection: Brain Salad Surgery.

Dr. Hook used that phrase in his song, "Right Place, Wrong Time" which apparently impressed Emerson, Lake and Palmer enough to title their album "Brain Salad Surgery." That's an amazing album, where classical mashes up with serious progressive rock and blows the doors off your stereo speakers.

And ELP is right behind ELO in most record store shelves.

Dr. John/Mac Rebannack, not Dr. Hook.

I remember watching Dr. Hook on the Dinah Shore show. Don't think I have any Dr. Hook albums, but do have a Shel Silverstein book around here somewhere.

Dr. John did an ep of Top Chef. Padma was with him, think it was a quick fire challenge.

The album Dr. John did with the Black Keys guy is pretty good.

Friends were impressed watching Alicia Keys play two pianos at once on the Grammies. Fucking Millennials think they invented talent. I remember Keith Emerson playing six keyboards in concert.

Always thought Led Zeppelin III was among the best-ever album covers ... it has the wheel inside the main image, so you can rotate it and different pictures appear (including all four band members).

    Plus, the songs are great!

Back in the day it was all but impossible to find a copy of the Stone's "Sticky Fingers" that had not had the shrink wrap broken so someone could pull down the zipper. Andy Warhol really nailed that one.
