I will say this though, his teams have never missed the playoffs unless you count his rookie year. Good teams seem to want him. Pittsburgh gets him the year after their two Cups, then Vegas gets him at the deadline when it looked like they were for real.

    EDIT: I’m talking about Reaves.

I said both were assholes. Nothing else. Don’t read what’s not there.

If you had Anton Khudobin leading a team between the pipes to a Stanley Cup Final, take a bow. Yeah ... liar.

Don't get me wrong ... Dobby is a great, great guy. But he was Cam Ward's backup for a while in Raleigh and he was shipped out simply because the organization thought Eddie Lack could back Ward up for a little less.

Hard not to be happy for Khudobin.

Hell, we saw Khudobin play twice for the San Diego Gulls. He was older than some of the coaches.

Does anyone have good recipes for hats? Not eating yet, but if I need to get some weird ingredient, I want to start looking now.

Who knows if the Islanders have it in them to come back, but the potential of an Islanders/Stars Final excites almost nobody outside those two cities. It’d be very 2020.

Lightning-Stars isn’t any better — two franchises in non-traditional hockey markets. At least with the Isles the No. 1 media market is in play (Dallas is No. 5 — thought they passed Philly but not yet).

These playoffs have unfortunately been lost since football has returned. It's almost like the NBA and NHL avoid the NFL for a reason ...

I was speaking more from a quality of play standpoint, not market size. I’d much rather watch the Lightning play than the Islanders.

Isles drug the Bolts down with them last night. Boring ass game.
