Seems like Jeffy had a hand in Jimmie Johnson's ride with Hendrick. And no way that MJ car isn't No. 23 next year.

 

And, long ago, Geoff Bodine for much of a season.

Last week I was thinking Bubba was misguided for leaving the 43 unless he was getting the 48, and that would’ve been a long shot. I was wrong.

I assume they’ll be running Toyotas and getting cars from Gibbs, but I’m surprised they didn’t announce that? Maybe this really did come together two days ago?

 

My guess is that it’ll be off the shelf from Triad Racing Technologies like all the other Toyota teams.

 

I thought Gibbs still did their own chassis and/or bodies, but I haven’t followed all that closely lately.

 

Isn't that one unofficially retired? If they still have any claims to it, I can't imagine the Pettys would let it go very easily.

 

Time was, I could count to 100 in NASCAR.

That was a lifetime ago.
