Hankinson was charged because his bullets went into other apartments
The guy who shot Taylor was not charged

It was a state-sponsored execution. Basically a death penalty sentence without going through the trouble and the paperwork of filing charges and going through a legal process.

Unless it's a quirk in Kentucky law, how is that not public information? FOIA time?

He said it wouldn’t be released as long as Hankinson is facing charges

In the United States, the use of deadly force by sworn law enforcement officers is lawful when the officer reasonably believes the subject poses a significant threat of serious bodily injury or death to themselves or others.

It doesn't matter if the officer is wrong, the information they are working with is wrong or they go to the wrong address. I still ask - a "no-knock warrant" at 1 a.m.?

The warrant was changed from no-knock to announce and they announced.

And Breonna's boyfriend? He pulled a gun and shot a cop in the leg.
