Though, Ferguson was part of that draft as well. Dodgers also picked Geoff Zahn and Bobby Valentine, who didn’t have much of a career but had been a great prospect before injuries and a lack of roster spots derailed. Won league MVPs at Single A and AAA in his first three seasons.

What school did Bear Bryant defeat for his first bowl-game victory as a coach?

The Dodgers definitely won that draft. Paciorek was one of those super-utility guys behind Willie Davis, Willie Crawford, Jimmy Wynn and pinch-hitter Manny Mota.

Zahn had some good years with bad Twins teams and then did OK for the Angels.

Oklahoma while he was at Kentucky? (I don’t think he did much at Maryland so I could be off)

Bear Bryant's first bowl win was with Kentucky, 24-14 over Villanova in the 1947 Great Lakes Bowl in Cleveland. It was the only time that bowl was played with major-college teams.

Which New York Met switched to uniform #5 from #24 after they obtained Willie Mays in 1972?

Only Mets number 5 I remember is “The Glider,” Ed Charles.

I won’t ask it as a question because I haven’t found the list, but for 37 consecutive years now, a teammate of Shaquille O'Neal's has gone on to play in the NBA Finals.

It helps that Shaq played on a whole bunch of teams.
