Are they going to forget how to play football from last sunday?

How much hitting does the average NFL team do in a week of practice? I have no idea. But there has to be some value in a walk-through.
I am sure of this: Tell a football coach he can't practice for a week leading up to a game and he'll freak out.

It's flash cards. The average in season NFL practice has so little contact the average fan would be shocked. It's lineup, look at this, here's where it goes, ad infinitum. These guys have played the game before. They recognize the flash cards. But they need to see them.

I heard on a podcast today that Vrabel said if they can get a walkthrough Saturday, they are good to go. Don't have a link.

That really is interesting. If that's the deal, then I think I understand better why the NFL didn't build in multiple off weeks and has operated as if massive disruption of the schedule can be avoided.

Maybe it’ll be a more fun game if they don’t practice so much. Although some of the young players may need the reps to be NFL quality.

Whether they practice or not, I hope the Titans get drilled.

That's really at all levels of football these days, except maybe some college programs. High schools in my state are limited to about 90 minutes of contact per week, so they're very careful in how they parse it out. There are also tons of drills that they can do to get the same results without contact.
That's why, when some college programs have talked about getting rid of contact in practice, the initial reaction is, "What!? How can they learn to play football that way!?" But then when you find out how modern practices operate you realize, "Yeah, that's not much different from what they already do."

No one linking the Alan Iverson video? I'm disappointed!
