2020 MLB postseason thread

Remember the interview with Garoppolo in the midst of a key play during the Super Bowl? Or with LeBron after he clanked a jumper in the NBA Finals?

 

The conspiracy theories would be dominating Twitter right now if anybody cared about the Miami Covids.

 

You expect them to play when there's a tarp on the field? Are you nuts?

 

Yesterday's NYY-CLE game took 4 hours, 50 minutes. In nine innings. The final time listed in the boxscore is not supposed to include time spent in rain delays. So if that's right, the game is the longest in MLB history -- regular season or postseason -- of nine or fewer innings.
And right now, the White Sox and A's, who began shortly after 3 pm and are in the bottom of the fourth after two hours, are going to make a run at it.

 

I heard that stat on ESPN this morning. I loathe American League baseball.

 

It's all of baseball now with the league-wide DH. And I don't think it's going away at the end of the season.
