Hair today ... something something tomorrow.

I buzzed my hair my entire childhood until age 28. Then I started letting it grow out a little and got it styled and it looked great...and then I started going bald at 32 and have had to start buzzing it again.

I wasted all my good hair years and I’m still mad about it.

Here's what it looks like a few days later. It appears I'm going gray at the roots.

That's who I'm pulling for - though I wouldn't be surprised if some friends and family members pool their resources for an Obama look. Getting a lot of "you should trim that thing up a bit" comments. Seriously?

My hair is to the point that most of my caps no longer fit - thanks to having a huge head (7 7/8 fitted caps) and incredibly thick hair. The Mrs. was shopping for hair trimmers on Amazon the other day.

Another head shaver here. Maybe we could form a cult?

My hair was an absolute disaster as a kid. Cowlicks, uneven growth, even some thin spots. I tried to comb it normally or slick it straight back (it was the 80s, so that sort of worked for a while), but it still looked like ass. Finally, in my sophomore year of high school, I said fuck it and shaved it. I was on the swim team and a bunch of people did it for our biggest meet at the end of the season. I didn't do it then, but did a couple of months later.
Best thing I ever did. Solved all of my hair issues once and for all, and a shaved head never really goes out of style. I've been shaving it ever since. These days I do it myself every two weeks.
    I haven't owned a comb in 25 years.

I can’t stand to go more than a two days without shaving, and I get my hair cut once a month. The first day I could get my hair cut after the lockdown, I was out in front of the store like it was Black Friday.

I get two haircuts a year. My hair is extremely long and @Songbird levels of curly, but it grows really slowly. My hair will start matting really badly at the crown and that's when it's time to get it cut.

When I got my hair cut in July of this year (first time since October, thanks pandemic), the clumps of hair tried to take over the salon. :D

I had extremely short hair my entire childhood because my mom had no clue what to do with it. Early teens, I announced I was growing my hair out and it has not been shorter than shoulder length since. It has gone almost down my entire back.

The last time I got my hair colored, it took almost 5 hours.

My last real haircut was somewhere in the December 2019–February 2020 window. It got so long, it was curling up at the ends in back.

About six weeks ago, I had my wife cut it with dull scissors and a more dull Wahl set of clippers. My barbershop has been open for a while, but it will be a damn long time before I want to venture into that place again.

    I have plenty of caps.
