Here's the thing. You get admitted to the hospital? You don't get your clothes back until you're discharged. If you're being monitored, you don't get to choose. In fact, I'd be surprised if he didn't have a pressure sensor -- like they use for heart patients -- to keep him from walking around the room without someone present. There's no way he's working in a suit from some desk.

I truly don't know how gullible the White House thinks the rest of us are. If you've ever been in the hospital or spent time with someone else, the staff doesn't give you options on what you want or don't want.

Every patient gets hooked up to at least an O2 sensor on your finger and chest leads to the monitor -- both in the room and at the nurses' station.

 

You know, what amuses me is that I always heard that Trump was a germaphobe who avoided shaking hands if he could. I find that hard to reconcile with his refusal to wear a mask during a pandemic.

Last time I was in a hospital for a couple of days (about 20 years ago), I couldn't even go to the restroom without someone leading me to the door. The rest I could handle myself.

He’s signing the exact same thing that a kid who gets a D-III “offer” signs.
