Because their "policy" agenda is so hideously unpopular, they have to rely on the courts to do their bidding. Unelected judges! Legislating from the bench!

 

I don’t think some people fully appreciate the chain of command. You saw it in action when the JCoS followed Trump to the church after Gassinggate, even though it was absolutely horrible optics. You take the oath to defend the country and defend the president — “I will obey the orders of the President of the United States.” These are the true institutionalists, not guys like Bill Barr. If Trump wanted to kill himself on live TV while he’s under their care, they’d let it happen because it’s part of the oath they swore decades ago.

 

At the same time that they're floating a balloon that Trump may return to the White House tomorrow. Things that make you go "Hmm."

I know they never think things through, but any "bump" he gets from being such a badass that he left the hospital so quickly will be more than eroded by him having to go back to the hospital next week.
