    Right now with two coroners on the Senate Judiciary Committee, the committee is 12-12 and nobody gets through. We'll see what happens in 14 days, but the Turtle's margin for error is paper-thin.

    I rather like the fact that GOP Senators are busy ramrodding ACB and not back home campaigning, actually. So it's not zero-sum.

    Mitch can bring nomination to the floor even if it's voted down in committee. Also, there's no doubt the infected Senators will show up, not wearing masks, either. They're all demented, and some of them were stupid even before they became demented.

    He can't do until AFTER the committee vote. Then he can. Bork was voted down in committee and the Democratic Majority Leader, whose name I forget, brought it to the floor to shut the Republicans' gob. Bork lost there too.
