    Also, these pillbillies plan to kidnap a governor but they didn’t do anything during BLM demonstrations? Sure... the protest I’m sure would have messed up their work appointments the following day.

    He won't run again in 2024. The opportunists like Cotton and Hawley will have full control of the dregs of the GOP by then.

    Right as that poll was being done, most people had been given $1200 for nothing, were off a period of months in which they were getting more in unemployment checks than they had been earning actially working, were getting mortgage relief due to a broad coronavirus bailout program, and as a result were actually paying down debt (despite unemployment being higher than it was during the great recession) and were actually out spending.

    It's not a good kind of "better off" for a decent percentage of people, regardless of how they see it.
