Because it's just not 2020 without a Friday night news dump.

One of your better efforts. Somewhere Donovan is smiling (maybe he smoked a "mellow yellow").

If Trump's plan to steal this fails and Biden is, in fact, sworn in, let's see if he overrules guidelines mandating safety measures on mass transportation in the middle of a health crisis. Let's see if he exposes his own people to the virus in the White House. Let's see if he runs the government as a conduit for foreign cash to his businesses.
One of these candidates is not like the other.

Biden not answering that boils down to keeping his powder dry and the possibility on the table. The R's need to understand that there are consequences to their actions. If they want to bend the rules and play hardball, well, they're not the only people who can do that. No reason to give out your strategic position and plans because your adversary asks you to.

    Excellent column here.

Republicans have no standing to complain about court-packing

"In any event, Trump and his fellow Republicans have no standing — zero — to complain about this prospect. The hypocrisy would be laughable if it weren’t so breathtaking. Their unprecedented abuse of raw power brought us to this point. If they weren’t ramming through the Amy Coney Barrett nomination even as votes in the general election are already being cast, the notion of court-packing would not be seriously on the table."

    Here comes President Gus
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from this
presidency, it’s that you have to get every
rule in writing or Donald Trump will break it.

That would be fairly remarkable, but what would it really mean? None of the Trumpists will go "well, shoot, if Dubya doesn't like him then I'm out." They'll just keep feeding off it.
