Also, I read briefly through some of the bios and I'm wondering if any SJer has worked with Jerry! He is an Athletic Director and Men's BB coach at Simmons College in Kentucky.
Gary and DeAngelo are both retired NFL players (Panthers, Browns, Steelers). Kellie and LaVonne are both Olympians in the hurdles. We have a really interesting mix of teams on this season.

 

The fact I didn't get the native Arkansan and former Steeler means I'm rooting against myself in this pool.

 

Hey @Inky_Wretch , since this is all for fun, if you really want that pair, I'll trade. Just throw in a late round draft pick or player to be named later.

That was a fun leg and seemed to have a lot of likeable teams. I always thought TAR was such a great concept that was executed so well that drama between or within the teams wasn’t needed.

 

I waited a couple days to watch this premiere, until I had time off to sit back and really enjoy it, and I finally did that today.

I love "The Amazing Race." Every time I see it, I want to be on it. I totally related to the contestants' reactions to just that opportunity that were shown early on in the episode.

 

Same. I have a friend that I would totally go on it with - she'd do the skydiving and cliff diving and swimming. I'll handle the brain teasers and any challenge that requires staying on the ground.
