The D's ended the filibuster only in approving lower court judges. McConnell ended it when the R's came to power in regard to SCOTUS.

Lol, no. Republicans would have removed the filibuster anyway. You are acting as if they would respect precedent when they have already proven they won’t. Not even the precedent they set.


If Democrats has not removed the filibuster for federal judges just to make it possible to appoint any, Republicans would still have laughed at what suckers they were and nuked it anyway. It just would have given McConnell three times as many openings to cram through with unqualified judges.

 

I think Biden did a good job answering that question about transgenders.

 

I think the previous question showed he has Belarus in his sights.

Biden has done well. Avoided the court packing question but that’s likely a smart political calculation.

The Biden event is calm. Civil. A conversation. That is so appealing after four years (five counting the bonkers campaign) of this chaotic clown show.
