2 seems very plausible.

1 really doesn't. Based on the little I've seen, if it was all made up, Hunter Biden could have called BS immediately. Too many distinct details.

I suppose it's possible all the personal stuff is real and the 2% of Russian emails are fake. But the personal almost has to be real.

 

Just the fact that a 20-something former Hannity staffer wrote it, a few months after coming on board as deputy political editor - I'm sure it's oppo dictated straight from Trump Tower. It's almost more important for the reporter to "sell" the story to viewers on TV after its published than to put the words together in print.

 

A podcast I listened to this morning made the argument that if this was legit, the NYP would assign a more seasoned reporter to work on it with the one who got the “scoop”.

 

I should know better, but apparently I don't. My old paper posed an Associated Press fact check of both Trump and Biden on Facebook earlier today. It hit Trump for more things than Biden, as would be expected. One smart ass said something like "why didn't they fact check Biden saying he was a college professor for 21 years?" All I did was Google Joe Biden law professor and came up with a story that confirmed he did teach a class, so I linked it to this guy's comment. And that brought the TrumptyDumpties out of the woodwork. Apparently I am a "Dumbocrat who can read."

Why should he give this any oxygen?

A one-sentence statement from Hunter Biden on Wednesday saying "this is all BS" just keeps the story alive.

 

Please never be part of a jury. A prosecutor would have you wrapped around his or her finger.

 

I have friends who went to summer camp with him. All the kids in the Once Upon a Time cast had crushes on Jennifer Connelly.
