To tell the truth, if there was ever a fortunate son, it was Trump.

Who do you sue? His campaign? Those doors will be sucked dry and closed the day after the election.

Can you sue the person who started the campaign?

I thought for sure the trainwreck was going to outdraw Biden's traditional political thing. The fact that it didn't would freak me the fuck out if I was a Republican in a tight race, along with the stuff about the huge numbers for early voting.

I bet Trump stole, skimmed, appropriated and redirected at least $100,000,000 in campaign donations. If drunken wife beater Brad can skim $20 mil, Dickless Don can take $100 mil

And I'll throw you a line here to save your example: California switched to a top-two system in the primaries where everyone regardless of party is thrown into one pot with the top two regardless of party move on to the general. We've had several Democrat on Democrat generals, including CA-12 which Pelosi represents. So what could happen (assuming Pelosi even runs again in '22, there's a chance she won't) is Republicans start pouring money into a Democratic challenger to try to get Pelosi out that way. San Francisco just is not going to vote Republican in any serious numbers so the only way to get Pelosi will be to back a Democratic.
