    Flutie really wasn't very good with the Generals. He completed only 47 percent of his passes with more interceptions than touchdowns. Trump tried to game that system, too. If the league had continued, he was going to fold the Houston Gamblers into the Generals, so he would have had Jim Kelly and Herschel Walker.

    For giggles and shits, I looked that up. Generals went 4-4 against the Stars in the regular season combined for the three years. Generals went 3-0 against them in 1984, but lost to the Stars in the playoffs.

    I think pundits still don't always appreciate how much this is a completely different Republican party than it was 5 years ago, and thus the electoral map has changed significantly. Colorado and Virginia are safe blue, Pennsylvania isn't.
