Dallas eating shit in a primetime game. Nice to have a sense of normalcy in 2020

I think they clinch with another tie.

Eagles have Giants Thursday, Cowboys the following week then Giants again. If they don't put the division away after that three-week stretch, they won't put the division away.

It is entirely possible the East champ will only have 6 wins.

Sam Cassell makes the All-Star every year...in my heart.

That wonderful alien basketball person was amazing.

For the Eagles to win six games, they have to go 5-5 the rest of the way.

They gave five games left against their fellow dregs, but then it’s Seattle, Arizona, New Orleans, Cleveland, Green Bay.

Man, I’m just not seeing six wins.

    I googled it.

Indeed: Someone will be declared champion of the NFC East, and I believe that team goes to the playoffs.

    Still not certain, though.

If a team can’t play .500 football, just add a wild card.

Question: Every team involved in a tie for first place in a Division is recognized as a co-champion, right? In this atrocious division, only one will go to the playoffs, but in theory, could a 6-10 team fly a banner?

    Remaining Games:

WTF: Dallas, Giants, Lions, Bengals, Dallas, Steelers, 49ers, Seahawks, Carolina, Eagles
Eagles: Giants, Cowboys, Giants, Browns, Seahawks, Packers, Saints, Cardinals, Cowboys, WFT
Giants: Eagles, Bucs, WFT, Eagles, Bengals, Seahawks, Cardinals, Browns, Ravens, Cowboys
Cowboys: WFT, Eagles, Steelers, Vikings, WFT, Ravens, Bengals, 49ers, Eagles, Giants.

I think all four of these teams will be underdogs in literally every non-division game they have remaining.

WTF and NY have four division games remaining; Eagles and Cowboys have five.

So yeah - it seems like a very real possibility that a five or six-win team could claim the East.

Green Bay and Cleveland just got crapped on this weekend, and the Saints are 3-2, but they've outscored their opponents by a whopping five points. I couldn't tell you who in that five-game stretch they're going to beat, but I doubt they're going to go 0-5 through it either. So far this season, I don't think any team has looked unbeatable.

Dallas might be favored over Minnesota, and perhaps Cincinnati. But both of those games are on the road, so maybe not.
