There's no reason not to ask Biden about his son's laptop. None. It's not going to decide the election anyway.

I think part of the reason it's not getting asked is related to:

1. Other reporters making a stinkface if it is.

2. Biden getting awfully entitled in these final weeks, in a "you don't have the right to know and you wouldn't understand" kind of way.

He's become like a football coach, in other words. The collegiate version, which rely on 15 toady "recruiting guy" reporters to chill the 2 or 3 who actually have a real question.

If a reporter knew that, or even was pretty sure of it, that'd be a great question to tee up for Biden, and Biden would want to drive it 320. A campaign knows how to tee that up, too.

They certainly haven't shared the emails. They've shared PDFs of purported emails. No actual emails (with headers, though).

Share the actual emails. Share the actual hard drive. Then we can talk about how real the story is.
