the red county/blue country thing is to be expected...as it relates to farming, yes? Most blue counties in America have cities in them. That would reduce the amount of room in those counties for farms.

I’m way more worried about Wisconsin than I am Michigan.

 

From the USDA: In 2019, the top 10 agricultural producing States in terms of cash receipts were (in descending order): California, Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, Minnesota, Illinois, Kansas, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Indiana.

California is a blue state, no? So is Illinois, and customarily so are Minnesota and Wisconsin. Why aren't their farmers being compensated?
