Don't have a dog in this fight but as a fan of an AL East team that has struggled mightily against the Rays in recent years - including this year's playoffs - I think they win in 7.

Please stop with the payroll comparison. The Dodgers is a lot more than the Rays because they keep and pay their players instead of trading them as soon as it’s time they start earning big salaries.

Pollack, Treinen and Kelly are the only high paid free agents from outside. I know their finances allowed them to trade for Betts and take on Price, but it’s not like they’ve gone out and signed a bunch of guys.

Can you imagine Brady entering the playoffs with a chance to complete a Tampa sweep? Can we get a 3rd NBA team in Florida to go for 4?

Speaking of Price, I wonder what he's thinking right about now. And I wonder what his teammates think of him.

David Price isn't at World Series, but Dodgers will feel his presence

“I’m definitely missing it, but I’m at peace with my decision,’’ Price said. “What I missed the most is the competition, being in the clubhouse, being in the dugout, picking someone up after a rough game or week, having them come over to my room, and forgetting baseball."

“Everyone in a Dodger uniform wishes he was here,’’ Betts said. “We talk probably three or four times a week, he texts me after games, he pretty much texts the whole team. That's the kind of teammate he is, and that’s what he brings to the clubhouse.’’

The Rays have exactly ONE player born pre-1990. I'd say they're built to last, but you know the Rays.

It's a shame. Great organization. Nobody has done more with less over the past dozen or so years. But as we all know, that rotten orange in South St. Pete ain't gonna fix itself.
