    Again, Hillary was not a flawed candidate (at least not anymore than any other human being is flawed). As a former First Lady, U.S. Senator and Secretary of State, she was arguably one of the most experienced candidates to ever run for the highest office in the land.

    Deeply unpopular, I'll give you, but no candidate has had a better resume to prepare for the role of U.S. President in my lifetime.

    yeah. As Clinton found out in 2016, the states aren’t independent. If one moves away from polling expectations, demographically similar ones also will.

    But if Trump specifically has some sort of rust belt magic again, Biden does have some backup plans, they just aren’t as easy.

    Clinton + NC + AZ + MI wins. Or replace MI with WI and one from Nebraska.

    so does Clinton + FL + any one of AZ, NC, WI or MI. But Florida is a huge sucker bet for Democrats that never seems to pay off.

    you could probably squint and see some scenarios where he loses the rust belt but steals something crazy like Georgia plus some of the other states we talked about.

    They aren’t ideal or easy, but he has some plausible backup maps.

    it's weird that the media can't ask questions about this why are we supposed to assume it's fake the media hasn't asked why can't we just ask questions we should be able to have a serious conversation about this in the media but the media won't let us
