    The media is not going to stop writing about the man once he's gone. He's ratings gold.

    That's why you see so much of what you see. The media can't quit Trump. And it won't quit him. He's going to move into Keyser Soze status, and the name will be used as a cudgel anytime anyone asks a question our professional government doesn't like. The government professionals will complain to the usual reporters, who will use Trump as a signal in their stories.

    You aren't ever going to be rid of him.

    He won't be president. He won't be covered anywhere near the way he has to be covered now. His bullshit won't have grave implications for the country.

    There are media outlets that hang on every Kim Kardashian instagram post. He'll be an ex-president, which makes him a bit different now than Kim Kardashian, but he will be easy enough for most people to tune out. He won't matter anymore.
