A slapdick like him doesn’t realize that you need actual human emotions and some sense of retail politics. In six years as senator he’s done one public event in Arkansas. He’s good at getting money from the Kochs but that’s it.

that’s considerable of course but if Trump wins, Don Jr. is the presumptive favorite in 2024. And if Biden wins, then it is less clear but South Dakota’s cowgirl governor will loom large, I think.
