I distinctly remember the president bragging about voting by mail last month. He voted in person yesterday. Did he vote twice? And why isn't the media asking this question?

 

Ever stopped to think maybe "people insist" because they believe they've been given tacit approval? No?

 

He voted by mail in Florida's primaries in August.

You should be thrilled. The smart, cool people would never be around those Deplorables anyway. So let 'em Darwin themselves to death. Better demographics for the next election, amirite?

My 30-something nephew and his 30-something girlfriend are expecting, so they had one of those damned gender reveal parties on Saturday. My wife and I were invited, but declined to go because we were told it was likely there wouldn't be anybody wearing masks. We watched on a Facebook Live yesterday and that was correct, there was absolutely no masks among the 40 or 50 people in the house, including my sister-in-law and her husband, both in their 70s and both with asthma. I pray they don't come down with anything and for the girlfriend, who is expecting her first child. I do know our family members who were there are all Trumpadumps, and I suspect others in their social circle are, too.

 

For a self described real estate and business genius, it should be.

 

I definitely agree that our focus has been way too much on business closures. There’s a diminishing return. Once you’ve closed the bars and indoor dining, you’ve gotten most of what you are ever going to get from that tool in the tool box.

The lack of coherent message and strategy killed us. I would say “is killing us” but it’s been too late for awhile now. And the issue is so politicized as to become unmanageable. Republicans have become bizarrely pro-virus, forcing Democrats to focus on somehow countering that instead of being able to inject a little nuance into policy.

Unfortunately they come in daily contact with, and impact the daily lives of others. So I'd just as soon they act intelligently and take the proper precautions.
